Super Bomb Survival Controls Guide

F for Skills, ragdoll anytime, shiftlock for Wings — the binds the empty wiki page never listed.

Super Bomb Survival Controls

Super Bomb Survival runs on Roblox’s default character plus one or two extra buttons. The Fandom Controls page is still a stub, which is why people search “Super Bomb Survival controls” and land on 2018 Let’s Plays. This guide is the missing bind list for PC, mobile, and console, plus the movement tech that is not a key at all (Wings glide, Bubble Ride steer, Hover dash).

Read getting started if you have not finished a round yet. This page assumes you can already walk.

PC keyboard

ActionBind
MoveWASD
Jump / Super Jump / Double Jump / open WingsSpace
Air Dash (if equipped)Space again in midair
Use SkillF
Second Skill (gamepass)The second Skill slot uses the same flow as the first; check the v4 loadout UI if your bind was rebound
RagdollDedicated ragdoll control (game advertises ragdoll anytime; many clients use R)
ShiftlockShift (Roblox setting). Turn this on before you glide.
Climb truss / ladderHold W + Space to zip
CameraRight mouse, or first person
Shop / loadoutLobby HUD buttons, not a key

Roblox lets you rebind some of this in Settings → Controls. Do not rebind jump if you use Wings or Air Dash; those abilities piggyback on the jump input. The perks catalog explains why Air Dash is “jump twice in the air.”

Mobile

  • Thumbstick to move, jump button to jump.
  • Star button fires the equipped Skill. This is easy to miss because it does not look like an F key.
  • Ragdoll is an on-screen button, not a hidden swipe.
  • Shiftlock is a Roblox camera toggle. Eternal Light’s 6.0 comments mention players asking how to get shiftlock on mobile — enable it in the Roblox menu, not in the SBS shop.
  • Shop tabs are full-screen. There is still no codes field; see how to redeem.

Touch lag plus Hover is a common wipe. If your device drops frames when Nukes chain, play public 3.0–4.0 until you own Forcefield, or sit closer to the router. The intensity planner is how you stop queuing Super Intense on a phone that cannot steer Bubble Ride.

Console and VR

Namu lists PC / mobile / console / VR support. Exact controller glyphs were never published on the Controls wiki. Expect:

  • Face button = jump / Wings / Air Dash
  • A second face button or bumper = Skill (match whatever Roblox maps to “F”)
  • Camera with the right stick; enable the console equivalent of shiftlock if Wings feel drunk

VR uses the lobby billboards for shop and vote. If a bind does nothing, open Roblox’s experience settings rather than the Survival Shop. We will not invent a DualSense map.

Movement tech that is not a key

  • Wings (Crystal, Aurora, Hallow, Bubble) — double-tap jump to open, then glide. Damage above 5 HP breaks them. Break penalties: Hallow −5 / 18s, Crystal −10 / 25s, Aurora −20 plus freeze / 28s, Bubble Wings trap you instead of HP (about 7s, regen 12s). Unseen is required on 6.0. Guide: perks tier list.
  • Hover — hold the Skill to stall. Level 3 gains height. Air Dash during Hover is “Hover Dashing.”
  • Bubble Ride — you cannot steer unless Unshakeable is on. That synergy is the whole best loadouts page.
  • Dive — ragdolls you forward. Funny, often lethal.
  • Warp — F once to plant, F again to teleport. Level 3 adds a blast.
  • Platform / Truss / Spring / Ice Tower / Lava Sponge — F places geometry. Truss climb is W + Space, not a second Skill.

Settings that change “controls”

  • Disable PvP — you neither deal nor take Skill damage (Warp level 3 still shoves). Credits drop. Use it while learning bombs on beat bombs.
  • Hardcore — not a bind. 35 HP, Perks off, unlock at 50 wins.
  • Ragdoll on hit — Discombobulator, Bass Blaster, trip bombs, and bubbles will put you down even if you never press ragdoll. Unshakeable is the counter, not a key spam.
  • Loadouts (v4.01) — equipping a loadout in the arena before the round starts now also equips its Skills. Do this in the lobby UI, not mid-fuse.

A 30-second bind check

  1. Spawn in the lobby, confirm F (or star) throws Bomb or Super Jump.
  2. Enable shiftlock.
  3. Ragdoll once so you know the button before a Bubble Bomb teaches you.
  4. Open the shop, confirm you can reach Skills / Perks / Loadouts. No codes tab.
  5. Queue. If the Skill never fires, you clicked the wrong mobile button — not a desync.

After binds feel boring, the next skill ceiling is palette reading and loadout theory, not another key. Go back to the guides hub.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Super Bomb Survival questions.

What key uses a Skill in Super Bomb Survival?

F on PC, the star button on mobile. Console uses the Roblox action button mapped to that Skill.

How do I ragdoll?

The game lets you ragdoll at any time (often R on PC). Hits can also force it. Equip Unshakeable from the perks catalog to ignore trips.

How do I turn on shiftlock on mobile?

Roblox camera settings, not the Survival Shop. You want it on before using Wings or Hover from the skills catalog.

Is there a codes hotkey?

No. Super Bomb Survival has no redeem UI. See the codes hub.
